A great day in the park!

19 volunteers turned up for the task day so we were able to get through many jobs.

The boules court was tackled by an intrepid band of four, who dug over the surface and raked and levelled it. The court is now ready for play!

We deadheaded, tidied and weeded the flowerbeds.

A comprehensive litter pick was carried out .

The COVID Memorial bed was weeded, given new compost, neatly edged and planted with multicoloured violas.

A doughty team tackled the shrub bed leading to Station Road; it's now looking very neat and tidy.

We did lots of weeding around the Memorial and along all paths, edging all the flowerbeds.

So ... a heartfelt thank you to all our wonderful Friends of Marple Memorial Park volunteers!
